Need to catch up? Read August's Joy Report here

September's Joy Report (only like two days late.....) is coming to you live (and by live I mean scheduled) from Seattle-freaking-Washington! Today I will be walking my little tourist ass all over Pike Place Market (first stop? The first Starbucks. Aka the Mother Ship), The Space Needle and happy hour with Tater and Tot and some of my favorite Seattle Bloggers!  I LOVE VACATION.

I also love joy. Speaking of joy: here are a few things bringing me joy this month:

BOOKS:

The Cross Roads of Should and Must by Elle Luna. Thank you for the recommendation, Amber!

I am LOVING this book, almost as much as I'm loving all the coffee in Seattle. Am I rubbing my vacation in your face yet? Ok sorry. I'll stop.

BLOGS:

Through Kallie's Mug Swap pairings, I met Erica from Coming Up Roses. ADORE HER. New favorite daily read.

Some fun, unique and beneficial infused water recipes from The Happy, Healthy Balance! (She also interviewed me recently. Read that here)

My dear friend Erin launched a re-branded (and adorable) new blog this month called Everything with Love. Her outlook on life, motherhood and cocktails make me happy.

I've done a few Blogger Periscope chats with Brianna from Sincerely, Brianna Leigh and I love her heart and passion for blogging.

LISTENS:

Simi from The Micro Harvest changed up her Monday Newsletter, The Monday Antidote to a recording of inspiration to start your week off right. Obsessed doesn't even begin to describe the feels I have about this. One of my top 3 favorite newsletters.

This song by Ed Sheeran. That little ginger sure can carry a tune.

COOKING AND CREATING:

Shannon from Gin and Bare It makes this damn good sweet potato hash and snap chats me photos of her eating it everynight. So I finally forced her to tell me her recipe. And now I will be eating it everyday for the rest of my life. POST THE RECIPE ON YOUR BLOG SHANNON, DAMN IT.

INSPIRING:

A man built a train for all his adopted dogs. He takes them on trips into town. His name is Eugene Bostick and he is living my dream life. (Watch the video here)

Off to breathe more of the same air as Pete Carroll and the rest of the Seattle Seahawks! Join me over on Instagram: (@justgoleft_) and Snapchat (username: AlwaysAshten)
