Just Go Left

Short On Time? Here's a Work Out for You!

Let’s face it, we are busy; between work, family, friends, housework, cooking, laundry…I’m getting stressed just thinking about it all! There just isn’t enough time in the day, every day, to get a workout in. You know it’s good for you and it will help release that stress but….

There are days where it just isn’t going to happen.

Good news is you don’t have to have an hour to exercise; you don’t even need 30 minutes. You can get a great workout done in just 20 minutes! I know, it probably goes against everything you thought, but I promise you can burn just as many calories {if not more} doing this 20 min workout as you would running for an hour on a treadmill.

I’ve put together compound moves followed by short cardio bursts. The compound moves are two exercises you are doing at the same time {bicep curls and squats}.

By doing that you are targeting two areas and getting your heart rate up because you are moving more instead of just standing still and doing curls.

Only catch…you have to go all out during this workout. Each move is only 30 seconds, so in order to get the best benefit you have to go as hard as you can!

But hey, 20 min later you are drenched in sweat and most importantly you are DONE

Here is your workout sequence:

1. Start with a 2 minute warm-up

-Jog in place for 15 seconds

-Leaning side lunges {feet out wide, hips press back, alternate bending knees side to side} 15 seconds

-Repeat 4 times

Then follow the sets below.

-Do each strength move for 30 seconds

-Followed by the cardio move for 30 seconds

-2 times through

-Take a 15 second break

-Move onto next set

-Once you’re done with each set repeat the entire sequence again!

-Finish with your own stretch/cool-down
